Are you ready for some football???!!!

Well, being the over-ambitious parents that we are, we decided to sign the boys up for the Mini Mustang Football Camp this fall. As if soccer wasn't enough for them.....we thought we would throw in another practice a week on top of it! You live and you learn. Andy decided to help with the football camp and was one of the dad's who assisted with the practices. They endured five weeks (Thursday's only) of practice and closed the football camp with a "game day" on a Saturday.

The first four weeks of camp consisted of learning drills, working on passing, catching and so on. The fifth week the kids received a surprise and got to practice scrimmaging with the PCM Mustang Varsity football players. It was so neat to see the excitement on the kids' faces when they were playing with the "awesome & cool" real Mustang football guys! They did a great job! A big "Thank You" to the Mustang Varsity players that helped that night! You made a lot of little boys proud and happy! After that practice Greyson came running to me and said "Mom! Did you see who we got to play with tonight?! We got to play with the Chiefs! It was sooo cool!" The Kansas City Chiefs is "our" team and for Grey to think that's who he was playing with is a HUGE complement to our Mustangs! I did however, correct him and tell him that they were the PCM Mustangs. He still thought it was the coolest thing ever!

Kaeden gets the hand off.
